Airiport Terminal Astana' - Astana', Kazakhstan

Located within the airport boundary the two-story building, used as Airport terminal at the Astanà International Airport,  has been designed in accordance with the most recent standard for airport building.  Particular care, during design phase, has been dedicated to the passenger security with the adoption of a new high sophisticated computer controlled security system.
The building is totally self sufficient and include electrical and heating back up generators, water reservoir and satellite telecommunication system, which allow the complete operation even during emergency or black out periods. 
A large use of aluminum and glass curtain wall mixed with stone cladding cover the external of  the building and allow a maximum light efficiency in the internal space of the terminal hall.
Among other facilities large external parking area has been built for visitor and passengers with capacity to host  up to 150 cars.
Among others facilities the terminal has been equipped with a restaurant, a bank, a pharmacy and other shop facilities to comply with modern demand for airport passenger.
