The
Tetriakov Court is elegantly inserted into the urban scenography
of Bolshaya Polianka
Street with its liberty architectural style marked by hand made
balcony handrails.
The expressive value of the project captures the weight and
value of the past especially in its external elevations.
The two-story building (see small picture) was the prestigious
residence of Nashiokin, a Russian poet, and it is protect by
local Russian authorities for its high historical value.
The building has been entirely refurbished in accordance
with the original architectural plans dated back to year 1590. Today the building is the private residence of the Head of
the EEC(European Commission) delegation in Russia.
The
seven story building(see large picture), better know as “The
Oman Embassy” building and overlooking the Tretiakov Gallery,
houses the Embassy
of the Sultanate of Oman, and in its two upper floors the
private residence of the Ambassador.
The
other two building completing the Tretiakov Court, covering an
area of 5600 sqm for 7 floors, are used as office and
residential space.
The
premises enjoy a high efficient HAVC system, centralized for all
buildings and controlled by computer, a electrical and heating
back up generators together with a sprinkler system in the
underground parking lot, which can host up to 65 cars.
